So Progressive Conservative Leader Tim Hudak won’t gut unions. But he’ll tell Chrysler, negotiating more than $3 billion in investment for Windsor and Brampton, to hit the road.
“As leader, I make the decisions,” he told me in an interview Friday. “I decide what goes into our platform and the kind of government we lead and what’s on the cutting room floor. This does not make the cut,” he said, referring to his abrupt 180-degree turn on right-to-work, suddenly scrapping the plan he has embraced for two years.
